I should learn to drive past Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway without stopping to take photos, for I must have a hundred or more photos of it! It used to be much more fun to visit when it was possible to watch as a bag of grits or corn meal was ground, packaged, sealed and sold. Now there are demonstration runs of the mill, but the grits they sell are from a commercial mill in North Carolina.
