- nina (as mila jandersdat ~ slowly her own features come through as she visually turns back into nina zenik) and her royal partner (Hanne, do they have a new name yet?) go to ketterdam as part of their honeymoon

- they of course stay in the geldrenner hotel, the most expensive suite obvi. (they are fjerdan royals so)

- one evening nina convinces her partner to enjoy the best ketterdam has to offer

- they walk the west stave during the day

- then Hanne suggests going into one of the gambling parlors despite their “fjerdan virtue”

- they choose to go to the SilverSix (unbeknownst to nina that this is the new estblishment of kaz)

- They try out some games, Hanne using her (healer?) corporalnik powers to cheat just a little bit

- at some point they mention to each other that they should check if SilverSix serves any food besides copious amounts of expensive liqour

- kaz has of course kept an eye on the pair since their arrival in Ketterdam

- and as the gentleman that he is, he sends out for waffles

- nina and Hanne who are sitting a table just chatting at this point, receive the waffles (which are obviously take-out) together with a message that reads “stop cheating at the tables or ill make sure noone ever sells you waffles, and no inej wont get them for you instead.” 

- nina looks around to try catch who gave them the waffles, when she looks towards what would be the office of the boss she sees kaz smirking at her (with his godawful haircut of course)

- hanne is stressed that this is a real threat, nina just suggests that she should enjoy the waffles.

- they do. and also keep cheating, this time nina does it more obviously

“One friend left to sell clothes” = Wylan, became a merchant and went home. Jesper who left to discover himself and who he wants to be and decided to stay with wylan in the end. Also Kuwei who left to find the cure to parem!

“one works down by the coast” = inej

“one had two kids but lives alone” = Kaz, who started the gang/crew but is now the loneliest of them, his purpose scattered now that he has what he wants, waiting for Inej, distant etc. also about Matthias, who had a vision of a future with Nina and in the end could not pursue it

“one’s brother overdosed” = about Jesper’s addiction and also Jordie

“one’s already on his second wife” = Nina

“One’s just barely getting by” = all of them simultaneously
