Chicken Pastel 🍽 Ingredients: Chicken (any part would do, but I used breast fillet cut into bite size) Garlic, minced Onions, minced Carrots, cubes Potatoes, cubes Red Bell Pepper, cubes Evaporated Milk All Purpose Cream Cream of Mushroom Chicken Broth/Cubes, half only Cheese (cheddar would do) Hotdog (better if Chorizo though) Mushroom, sliced Ground Pepper Salt (I prefer Fish Sauce) Procedures: 1. Prepare the ingredients. Chop the vegetables into cube size. 2. Sautè garlic and onion in a pan, followed by chicken meat. After 2 to 3 minutes, season with salt (fish sauce) and pepper. 3. Add hotdog/chorizo. 4. Add carrots and potatoes. 5. [Now here's a trick I learned that made my chicken pastel taste like the one I ate in a local restaurant.] In a bowl, dissolve cream of mushroom in evporated milk. (Skip if you're using liquid cream of mushroom). 6. Mix the milk mixture with meat and vegetables in the pan. And add about 1/4 cup chicken broth or 1/2 chicken cubes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 7. Simmer for a bit, then add mushrooms and bell pepper. 8. Add all purpose cream and cheese for a crramier sauce. 9. Cook in medium low heat until sauce becomes a little thicker.
