It’s not a complete no, but actually, I ship Raphie more than either of these. I guess Jafal was a little reciprocated. So perhaps I’d consider Jafal. I think they’d look good with a harsh, high contrast, limited color scheme.

A notification popped up on his email, filling him with an excitement he hadn't felt before. Rafal had spent the entire night before writing fanfiction, even if he knew the fandom was niche and no one would find it. He made the fanfiction entirely for himself, believing no one would find it, but the email in his inbox said the opposite.

Rafal tapped on the link, his eyes glued to the screen with anticipation. Apparently a user commented on the fanfiction he wrote half-asleep. He assumed it was a hate comment, considering how he didn't even double-check for spelling and grammar (after all, he assumed no one would see it).

"I've never seen a fanfic so beautiful in my life. Please continue writing, because I'll read every single one. I'm claiming my number one spot already!!" said the comment. Rafal stared at his phone, his pale cheeks lighting up with color. Who knew someone would really enjoy the content he himself disliked?

The boy reread the message, subtly smiling each time. Who is this person, he asked himself. Who would go out of their way to tell him they enjoyed his work?

Rafal scrolled back up, noticing an unfamiliar name he most likely overlooked upon opening the email.

Midas is great at animal communication and likes to teach Rafal about them. Rafal, being the most devoted Never he is, says he doesn't care about animal communication, and he's a Schoolmaster, he doesn't need to be taught!! He still listens anyway because Midas ends up knowing a lot more than him.

Rafal gets sick easily and Midas knows a lot about home remedies for sickness. :)

In Modern AU, i feel like they would be the couple that no one knew that started dating because they hate PDA.

I see them as this mysterious, private, quiet, old money couple in modern au and they go to museums as a monthly date.

Midas enjoys summer, and Rafal doesn't understand why. He can't understand why Midas would like when the season turns into a heated microwave.

They read storybooks to each other before bed. I imagine them having a gigantic storybook that's easy for both of them to read.
