after every episode since the end of season one, people online are like "lol how is Misty Fucking Quigley the most sane of them" and every time i'm like okay you people have CLEARLY forgotten how insane Misty is... but y'know what after this last episode i think there IS an important distinction there. Shauna and Tai and Van and Melissa are all New Crazy. they weren't born into this shit, they got there because of teenage trauma. MFQ is Old Crazy, that bitch was born wrong (every word of this is a compliment dripping with love and affection) and so she knows how to roll with this better. she kidnaps a woman, holds her in her basement for days, then murders her and the cops don't notice a god damn thing. her shit is tight. and i think that deceives people into thinking she's sane, because her crazy is organized and high-functioning and responsible! but like. let's get real here. just because Misty has the most practice being crazy doesn't change the fact that she's the craziest one of all.
My Future Queen.
I pen this thang for my future queen, my boo,
my freedom bell rang for the hatred we slew.
We nailed the glow up, let our shine breakthrough.
We always show love, ‘cause that’s just how we do.
I pen this for my future queen,
Who brightens any drab scene.
Although my aesthetic is long walks in rainy weather
I cain’t deny that with my MFQ it’ll be tenfold better.
Then she can be in my arms in due time,
We’ll be ready, await patiently in meantime.
So for now I’m just chillin,
while our destinies are fulfillin.
I cain’t stop this feelin, got me open and spillin,
your love fills my heart so no hate can fit in.
I pen this for my forever queen,
She is amongst the most beautiful you ever seen.
When I’m with her, haters cain’t get a win in.
Swear she got me cross country grinnin.

CHECK, PLEASE! YEAR TWO + MY FAVORITE QUOTES
MFQ - Every Minute Of Every Day (1965)
MFQ stood for either Modern Folk Quartet or Quintet, but that just confuses things. There is nothing folky or even folk rock about this tune. It’s an out and out soul tune, and a good one.

M.F.Q. | Night Time Girl | (Dunhill) 1966
M.F.Q. – ’Night Time Girl’/’Lifetime’ (Dunhill D-4025) April 1966 This is the second MFQ single in my Los Angeles select 100. Check out their early release ’If All You Think’ at number 32. ’Night Time Girl’ is adventurous folk/raga rock with a sound several groups were experimenting with during 1966/67. Here, the MFQ utilize a five string banjo and a Bouzouki to get that authentic eastern feel.…
Cherry Red edita su fantástico recopilatorio del revival folk USA de los 60s (PLASTICOS Y DECIBELIOS)
Más recopilatorios genéricos de Cherry Red, siempre realizados con un conocimiento y criterio fantásticos. «When Will They Ever Learn? A Story of U.S. Dunhill, 1966.
