Mubi is purchased and quietly all record of it disappears so nobody remembers they came first or asks how they got the name Mubi and sees the connection to "movies," a competitor idea to "tubies." working in the film industry in 2176 is synonymous with working for Tubi to a degree twice that of Disney in 2026. their slogan "Free Forever" no longer refers to their subscription-free model but the motto of the radical movement looking to abolish copyright and corporate media entirely.
