Not 100% happy with the shading here, so the flat version is under the cut.
Captain Karamatsu wearing Edward Pellew’s uniform (not putting a link here because tumblr will act weird if I do). It’s not quite from the era Pirates of the Caribbean takes place, but the shape of the collar notch (I’m not quite sure that’s the appropriate name) reminded me of a whale’s tail - so I thought it would be a nice touch.
The pattern on his tail is inspired by leopard seals (it’s also a ref to his glittery pants adfdrgfzgj)
