Aye caramba! Holy shit I didn’t expect this beer to be this good but I am head over heels in love right now. Don’t get me wrong, from the description and the label I definitely expected this to be good but I just didn’t think it would blow me away like this. If you don’t speak Spanish or know very few words like myself, this beers name basically translates to “coffee with milk” which should have been pretty obvious if you weren’t so busy writing letters to your senator because the Wal-Mart signage is English AND Spanish which just isn’t god damn ‘Merican! The one thing I distinctly remember from Spanish class as a young pup was one kid writing “Tu madre es mojado” on the blackboard and getting caught by the teacher which if I’m not mistaken translates to “your mother is wet”. Needless to say we all pissed ourselves with laughter and the teacher threw his ass out faster than Pepsi can pull a Kendall Jenner commercial. Did you see that shit? It was a fucking train wreck and it made me so glad that I have incredible beers like this to drink instead of soda. Anyways, a nice caramel flavor starts things off with a little bit of milk chocolate and sweetness before that coffee joins in in a huge way making your mouth water with it’s bold authentic roast-y flavors before ending with a creamy smoky dark chocolate flavor with a little more coffee to close. This beer and 5 Rabbit in general has quickly become mi amor in just a few bottles and I am muy triste that this is the last one that I have because this one bottle is not going to cut it. If you love coffee or just want to taste a damn delicious imperial porter make sure you pick up a bottle or five of this because it basically checks every box on what you should be looking for and exceeds all expectations. This is a great buy for pretty much all levels of craft drinkers as long as you love your java so get out there, learn some Spanish, and fucking drink!
