In 2007 I was fortunate enough to visit rural Kenya and a dozen or so schools. The desire of the children to learn was inspirational, in light of their extreme circumstances. The lives of children in rural Kenya are hard enough, and for these children even more so in light of their physical and mental challenges. In front of the camera however, they were themselves without reservation. The camera/lens combination was a Hasselblad 501CM/180mm, and the roll was exposed onto Fuji's brilliant Neopan Acros 100 using natural light.
