Ruffrè Mendola (Trentino). Val di Non. Promenade. In the uphill walk towards the pass or downhill towards Ruffrè, you can still enjoy an exciting panorama, not only fir trees, not only multicolored farms, but a thousand peculiarities of the alpine landscape. The village was born in the middle of the Middle Ages on the initiative of some woodcutters from Caldaro (at the foot of the pass to the north), perhaps for this reason it preserves non-Trentino traditions, such as some ancient denominations, from Rufredum to Fondoy. It currently has just 400 inhabitants. Along the way: traditional half-timbered farm with wooden shingle roof between the Mendola Pass and the town of Ruffrè; typical restaurant "Al caminetto" at Mendola; chapel of the B.V.
