Can I get a writing request for Max x Neil? Nothing is still so maybe when Neil realizes he liked Max or the other way around ďżź
Here ya go! I decided to write from Max's perspective on this one. Enjoy!
âFuck!â Max shotued, kicking the crate he had been using as a table in his tent. âThis is fucking bullshit!â Max hated everything right now. Well, almost everything. Neil was the exception, as he always was. However, thatâs what he was mad about right now.
Stupid Neil and his stupid cute face.God damn him and his stupid cute face and pretty hair. Max groaned in frustration, throwing himself onto his cot with a sigh. He rubbed his face. He hated this. He wasnât the type to catch feelings, especially not like this. Heâd never even had a crush before, what were you supposed to do with them?
Confessing wasnât an option. He didnât even want to think about telling Neil about how he felt. Besides, they were only middle schoolers, these feelings would all fade away before they erached highschool and then Max would have another crush that would fade away before adulthood. THen heâd finally date someone, maybe, and then those feelings would also fade away. Probably be a nasty divorce too.
It was a vicious cycle of stupid feelings making things awful, as usual, and Max wanted nothing to do with it.
âWhat!?â Max shouted, sitting up. âWhat do you and your stupid hair want, Neil!?â
âJesus!â Neil said with a scowl. âWhatâs your problem?â
âYou are!â Max yelled, pointing an accusing finger at Neil, who looked shocked.
âWha-me? What did I do?â
âHave stupid hair!â Max yelled before groaning in frustration and falling back onto his cot. Well, this was going super duper well.
âWhatâs my hair got to do with it? Max, are you feeling alright?â Neil went to go touch ihs forehead and Max whacked his hand away, sitting up a little to glare at Neil. Neil frowned. âMax, seriously, youâre not making any sense, maybe you have heat exhaustion? Oh! Iâll go get David!â
âDonât you dare!â Max grabbed Niel by the wrist, yelping when that got him face first on the floor somehow. How fast had Neil been going? âOw.â
âOh my god! Are you okay!?â Neil ran over, helping Max to his feet. Max grumbled, wiping the first from his face.
âIâm fine,â he muttered. âBut if you go get David, Iâll end you!â
âAlright, alright! Jesus, Max, whatâs wrong?â
âYouâre whatâs wrong!â Max gestured angrily with his hands. He growled in frustration when Neil looked at him like he was cazy. God fucking damn it! Max sat back down on his bed. âLeave me alone!âÂ
âMax! You canât just tell me to leave you alone like this!â
âCâmon man, whatâs wrong?â Neil asked, his voice downtrodden. âAnd why are you so upset with me? What did I do wrong?â
âNothing, you didnât do anything wrong! Ugh, I donât wanna talk about this!â Max shouted, hiding his head under his pillow. âJust leave me alone!â
âIâm so confused,â Neil muttered. âMax, can you please just tell me?â
âAGH!â Max sat up, grabbed Neil by the collar, and pulled him in for a kiss on the cheek. Max immediately laid back down, hiding his head under his pillow again as he felt himself go a dark red.
âOh,â Neil said quietly. How articulate of him. âMax?â
âDo youâŚdo you, like like me?â
Max threw the pillow off his head and glared at Neil indignantly. âYou did not just say âlike likeâ.â
âYou are such a god damn dweeb!â Max shotued. He squeaked when Neil kissed his cheek.
âYou donât seem to mind too much!â
