My concept for a Legends ZA mega:
MEGA DITTO!
The idea is that mega evolution caused it to rapidly multiply, so now it’s a big pile of dittos. It would have a new ability called “Shapeshifting Savant”, which works like imposter (auto-transform when activated) but would give a +20 bst increase to ATK, DEF, SATK, SDEF, and SPD (adding up to the +100 BST boost that all megas have). This essentially lets u steal ur opponents Mon but stronger, bulkier, and faster. It would be so annoying I love it
speculating on OG mewtwo and genesect movie mewtwo being two different cloning attempts, with 2.0 having more mew dna that lets them mega evolve (i.e., just rapidly, horribly mutate). i really hate the canon mega evo designs as they are but predictably, adding a dash of body horror into the mix turns me right around. turns out, having ditto in your clone family makes you a lil melty sometimes!
bonus gory tangent: the subtle chest spike thats more prominent in Y forme being reminiscent of the gardevoir psy-conductor horn ties into how my redesign of gardevoir makes it really fuckin gnarly to think about
Rather than beat myself up over the art I haven’t completed yet I decided to show some appreciation for what I’ve already done
(Kinda hard not to make huge strides of improvements when you start with terrible pen doodles drawn small on notebook paper, but whatever)
