Progress on making Mega Scolipede work in Reg M-B:
I landed on pulling from Jamie Boyt's Wyrdeer-Milotic team and turning it into a hard Trick Room strategy with Incineroar. The idea is that you can lead Incin + Wyrdeer and set up with fake out + tr, then gravity with Wyrdeer and attack or parting shot with Incin - setting you up to get off Hypnoses into anything that would bother the Mega you chose while Milotic softens up the field or Scolipede comes in to set up. Gravity also has the bonus of making Gunk Shot and Heat Wave 100% accurate, with is great because GS lets Scolipede do a lot more damage and Camerupt doesn't have to rely on Eruption and can run Ancient Power instead for M. Charizard etc. I chose Earthquake over a bug-type move on Scolipede because it feels a lot better coverage wise - Wyrdeer can avoid taking too much damage from it by stacking up defense boosts with Psyshield Bash. Decidueye is here because it makes a great partner for Scolipede with Coaching, as well as having priority Shadow Sneak and threatening Steel- and Dark-types like Archaludon for Rain matchups and Kingambit which could otherwise take advantage of the double Intimidate. Scrappy also means it can hit Gholdengo and Sableye for super effective which is really nice, and Triple Arrows is just a great move in general. The EV spreads are slightly arbitrary atm, don't really know my calcs, and I'm wondering if Milotic's moveset could be more optimised, but I think I'm onto something here. Lmk if anyone has any thoughts/ideas, I really wanna make M. Scoli work.

That's right, Corbeau's own choice in Mega- Mega Scolipede- has hit the field! Unova's big bug is an interesting case of a Mega taking on a whole different battling identity after being filled with mega evolution energy. Where Scolipede was a fast, frail attacker, Mega Scolipede beefs up its defenses, becoming a slow, tanky powerhouse that mows through threats! It loses a whole 50 points in its Speed, being redistributed along with the bonus 100 points from mega evolving into an additional 40 Attack, and 90 points going to its defenses- the remaining 20 going to Special Attack. And those defenses are clearly reflected in its design! Mega Scolipede gains impressive armour plating to protect it while it spews venom. Said venom is also now luminescent, and it's so aggressive that the venom even alters Mega Scolipede's mind, making it more violent. Unsurprisingly, I would recommend avoid being on the receiving end of that venom! But maybe give it a vote?
In the other corner, we have Mega Kangaskhan returning from last Round! The mother and child duo handily defeated Mega Camerupt, but can they defeat another star Pokémon of an intimidating character?
