ARTWORK LP: Van McCoy and his Magical Movie Machine (Hugo & Luigi)
This LP contains three Medley's across both sides with a common call out in the intro to each, "Disco Movies...", side Two for example contains a single medley mashing up; Theme from Shaft, Doctor Zhivago and the Magnificent Seven, though perhaps not prolifically nor to my taste, the potential for looping and extending sections has kind of been orchestrated for you.
arr. Van McCoy, 1977. Other musicians include Richard Tee, Cornell Dupree, Phil Bodner, Urbie Green, Gene Orloff and vocalist Zulema with female soul trio, Faith, Hope & Charity.
Cover Art by Jim O'Connell.

12 Versions of "I Put a Spell on You" Medley – Vintage Halloween [source]
Twelve versions of a very influential rock song and one of my favorite Halloween jams -- "I Put a Spell on You". Jay Hawkins originally wrote it as a love ballad about a girlfriend who had dumped him. The studio liked the song but didn't think a ballad would sell so the producer got the band drunk before the recording and this wild version was the result. It is such a timeless classic of heartbreak and desperate love and it has been interpreted in many styles by many artists since it was first released in 1956. One of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll and number 313 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
Screamin' Jay Hawkins, 1956 (Original Song writer and performer) The Alan Price Set, 1966 (This version hit #9 in the UK) The Animals, 1966 Nina Simone, 1965 Creedence Clearwater Revival, 1968 (CCR performed this at Woodstock) Tim Curry, 1981 Bryan Ferry, 1993 Bette Midler, 1993 (From the Disney film Hocus Pocus) Marilyn Manson, 1995 (Hit #36 in the US) Sonique, 1998 Jeff Beck ft. Joss Stone, 2010 (This version was nominated for a Grammy) Annie Lennox, 2014
Spoopy jams
To understand what I'm about to tell you, you need to do something first. You need to believe in the impossible. Can you do that? Good
Full circle! One of my very first medleys, and without a doubt the one that launched my channel, is getting it’s third and final edit! It’s crazy to think about how much things have changed since
