#mediumship tips

So the biggest thing when learning mediumship is building up trust and getting out of your head, literally making it so you're not thinking of anything at all, completely clear minded. So you know when it's your imagination vs actual information you're receiving. When doing reads it's best to not know anything about the person whatsoever, so it doesn't influence the reads in anyway. Also just going with whatever comes through even if it makes zero sense to you, it can make perfect sense to the sitter.

Also finding your specific communication style with spirit, mine would be having my eyes closed. I would love to do it with my eyes open, but I see clearer when my eyes are closed, which sounds funny, but it's what works for me. I can concentrate better, maybe it's an adhd thing in that it stops me getting distracted visually. I also usually connect best when the lights are low, and sometimes I put on frequency music to relax and get in the zone too.

Different spirits will come through in difrerent ways I've noticed, some might be more clairvoyant impressions, some might come through using more of my clairaudience, clairsentience etcetera. They key is to not try to force them to use the clair/clairs that you want them to use, and let the information flow to you naturally, in the way that's easier for them.

I'm Abby, and this is my spiritual development journal. I'm focusing on developing my mediumship to bring through specific evidence from loved ones in spirit, with the aim of providing meaningful evidence that supports the continuation of life after death.

The difference between both of these - mediumship vs psychic abilities. While mediumship focuses on connecting with loved ones in spirit, psychic work is about tuning into the energy of people, situations and life events :)
