Evidential Mediumship + Psychic Development 🌿

I'm Abby, and this is my spiritual development journal. I'm focusing on developing my mediumship to bring through specific evidence from loved ones in spirit, with the aim of providing meaningful evidence that supports the continuation of life after death.

I've also begun exploring psychic links and intuitive readings. This space is where I'll share my practice, what I've learned, the feedback I receive, other mediums that inspire me, and my ongoing growth. I'm still developing and it's early days, so this isn't about claiming to have all the answers, it's about documenting an authentic spiritual journey and seeing where it leads.

The difference between both of these - mediumship vs psychic abilities. While mediumship focuses on connecting with loved ones in spirit, psychic work is about tuning into the energy of people, situations and life events :)

Well in the read she comes through clairaudiently just lots of things coming through that really imply she was in some kind of abusive situation, be it mentally or physically in life. Then clairvoyantly I see a few other things that are more related to her life, nicer things, and she's talking about those babies are getting big etc, but then I see like me looking from someone elses eyes type of thing, a close up of her neck, her head tilted to the side, eyes closed like she's being threatened in her face! 😶

I then write up what came through and go back and read the info thinking she would be just saying how much she loved her mother, but it's not, it's that there is speculation over her passing, like there was something devious and deceptive going on around it. 😬

like some of the words that came through was manipulation, something about secrets in this house, once you've entered, you can't leave, anything that fits the verdict. I also got imagery of someone arms down and crossed over, not sure if this is metaphorical as in her hands were tied mentally about something.

So yeah like jeez 😬

Anyways, another thing I note is you can really get the personality of a loved one in spirit, because either I will get mainly just clairvoyant reads images come through for more reserved personalities, and when someone was extroverted in life, they come through more clairaudiently and it's just like a massive windfall of words/phrases like super chatty aha 😂

So I always share the good reads on here that are usually spot on, but this is the other side to development..

I really want to share this, because this is the type of read that can happen during developing -

Where some things don't hit, and some things do + where there is one piece of evidence that is weirdly specific 👀 I wasn't fully in the zone, my headspace just isn't there today whatsoever, and I was rushing because I didn't realise the time, and it was school pickup, regardless, I wrote down what came through and rushed out the door!

🌿 I saw a very vivid image of a dog, a small white one that looked like a bichon frise, this was very detailed, she said the loved one didn't have a dog, so she doesn't know what that could relate to, usually I'm spot on when animals come through and dog breeds for some reason, but this didn't hit. Could it be a family memebers dog, a dog she had before the sitter was born, a future dog, who knows, I only know that it's little face came through super clearly and was very cute! 😆

🌿 I saw a hand in a position like someone who smokes, I know this from having a mother who smoked a hundred cigarettes a day ha, but the hand was empty, either that or I couldn't make out what they were holding, though I saw the hand in that smoking position!

This actually makes sense though as she was a smoker but quit 20 years ago when first diagnosed with cancer. So she was bringing that through as she no longer smokes, because when I see a literal cigarette it's an indication of someone who smoked before they actually passed, I'm going to add that to my journal, kind of like when I see an empty bar/bar stools when someone is a recovering alcoholic and has been sober for many years so I'm glad this came through! ✅

🌿 The word 'hematoma' came through this she wasn't aware of, equally this could of just been a detail she wasn't aware of, it could of related to a family member, a future happening, but as of this read it didn't hit.

🌿 I got the vivid image of a robotic dog!

This is my fave part of this read, and the main part of the read that resonated with the sitter a lot, as the loved one in spirit had bought the grandaughter one not too long ago, before she passed away, and so it's now a treasured toy!

This is great evidential mediumship ✅

🌿 Physio, uprooting, housekeeper and previously hematoma didn't resonate, though these didn't resonate it makes me wonder >>

Hematoma → someone experiences a significant hematoma.

Physio → rehabilitation after the injury or illness.

Housekeeper → they temporarily need help around the home during recovery.

Uprooting → their circumstances change, such as moving home or a major disruption to daily life.

These could be future related that the loved one in spirit is bringing through, as sometimes I do get future events come through, things that happen after my read, though I can't say for definite. 👀

So I'm up because I just couldn't shut off clairvoyance decided to just come through super strongly tonight.

Two of the things I saw that stood out to me the most tonight were -

💕 A really detailed moving image of a white fluffy cat with the most striking purple eyes, casually leaping down from a windowsill and walking towards me.

💕 I saw a super vivid image of a woman, I would say late twenties - thirties, her hair was in two plaits either side with another braid across her haid like a hairband, her hair was a dark blond-brown kind of balayage, she was plus size, wearing a green top and bottoms, she had light brown skin, had full cheeks, and a super lovely smile! Her name came through too, as Anisha. This woman came through so strongly and so detailed that I wish I had a notebook next to me in bed, so I could of drawn who came through!

I think I'm going to have to put a notebook next to my bed from now on!

anyone who's sent tarot reads I'm so sorry something has come up in my personal life and I'm just not in the headspace right now and probably wont for the next few days! Sincere apologies, I will do tarot reads in the future I just can't focus on them right now.

🌿 Her daughter is worried how she will rent privately, they are both in the same situation, they also both worked in rent control - so the word Guarantor would be relevant here, or it could also be a way for her, or her daughter to rent privately, something they're or should consider. ✅

So this was a response from someone who posted that they had gone to a medium and nothing resonated with their passed loved one, and she wondered if she had done something wrong, or the person was a fraud!

+ this response from a person in the group is spot on!! 🙌

Honestly being in your head is a huge thing, even just a rubbish day where you're feeling off in anyway, can ruin a reading! I can see it from myself reads I've done where I've felt the connection wasn't happening easily, I wasn't flowing vs one where I'm in the zone, info is coming through clear and direct.

For instance when the connection is off images are blurred/hard to make out, sometimes they take foreeevverrr to come through. My intuition is off completely, clairaudience is super low and fast to the point I can't makeout the words and it's all disjointed, it's all just a huge flamingmess. Things don't resonate and it knocks your condifence majorly when the sitter is like sorry this doesn't resonate at all ah.

Problem is when it knocks your confidence, it in turn puts you more in your head! Like when you're doing a read you need a completely blank headspace sometimes I just imagine the colour white, and have the intent to just recieve. 😆

Though I feel with mediums charging, if things don't resonate with a sitter like at all, they should be honest, own up to not being in the right head space, or not being able to connect properly and refund, everyone has off days and that's okay ☺️

I honestly don't think people realise how much time, effort and work goes into learning mediumship or psychic work. Obviously there are scammers, but there are also people who like me are working their absolute butt off, and it's bloody hard work! 🫣

Just a name, no context to find out her current situation! 😊

Yusss!! Intervene and subpoena I got clairaudiently very strongly, I was nervous to write ngl, because it's a legal term and her situation could of been about something completely opposite haha! But I have to trust what I recieve even when I'm nervous, she validated this with it relating to what she's currently going through with someone who's dishonest + fraudulent! 👀

My very tired brain (haven't slept and it's currently 7.30am and I've just done this read) couldn't even remember what a subpoena even was I had to Google after lmao 😂

🌿 I first just got the word 'moving' and didn't know if it meant moving house, or moving on from something. This could be related to the next thing that came through, though she did also validate she has been thinking alot about moving house ✅

🌿 After I then got the image of a shovel stuck in the ground with someones foot on it, made me strongly think of trying to put something out of their mind and move on from something, like that phrase 'dead and buried' which she validated. ✅

🌿 The words - 'Intervene' + 'subpoena' relates to a person that's in her life, which is a painful situation regarding someone dishonest and fraudulent. ✅

🌿 Advance payment came through she can't relate to yet, but I often get future things come through in reads! 👀

So... Today I've started 'Sitting in the power'

Highly recommend.

I normally do meditation, and in the mediumship world 'sitting in the power' is a lot different to regular meditation. Now I hadn't found anyone who explains this properly until this morning, when I came across a video that explained it better.

So it's not something I had been doing much, but I've dabbled blindly in it, because it kept coming up in mediumship development books ha, until well today!

I did it for the first time properly and invited my spirit guides close after the first fifteen minutes and bam... The energy shift, the usual feeling I get when connecting with spirit (like someone's playing with my hair at the top of my head) but this time that happened and then I got physical heavy pressure on the top of my head like someone had placed their hand super firmly on my head.

Anyways afterwards I thought I would see if it improved my readings at all.. So I did a psychic link practise.

(this involves connecting with a living person's energy, practise wise we are given their name and a card that's been pulled for them, I glance at the card but usually barely view them, I will show it below, as I only like reading cards when I'm doint tarot personally, we have to find out their current situation, no information is given but their name)

Here is what came through - Writings a massive mess and so is my drawings but I jot them down within a few seconds of eachother, sometimes with my eyes closed, they make sense to me! 😆

When I connect to your energy -

🌿 I'm instantly getting pain in my abdomen, lower back and the right side of my head, I'm not sure if you're suffering with any pain in these areas at all?

🌿 Next I'm seeing the image of a jumping spider sat on a rock looking outwards, I take this symbolically, and it's giving me the sense of being very apprehensive, in an anxious state, kind of not wanting to move from a place of familiarity, like you want to make the leap for something but your anxiety is holding you back currently, like you're weighing up options on something.

🌿 I'm clairaudiently getting the word 'networking' which feels like it could be advice, as in it could be beneficial for you right now, or it could be something you've been meaning to do, but not getting around to at the moment.

🌿 I'm seeing the image of a pram, but not the modern kind, one of those old fashioned ones, which makes me think of the past here, rather than present or future, is there something about a baby/child playing on your mind currently, that's happened in the past but it's stuck in your mind a lot now for some reason?

🌿 Straight after this image I'm seeing a child's rocking horse if you can place this at all, though might be connected to the previous, either way I feel like a child or children are on your mind heavily in someway?

🌿 Lastly I'm seeing an image I haven't seen before which is a long road but it's on the ground going over tons of bumps, which to me symbolically feels like your life at the moment just feels like you have one hurdle after the next, if it is I'm sorry you're going through it!

- Clairvoyance 👀

My clairvoyance comes through in multiple ways -

For instance I will see still images/moving images, sometimes It's like I'm literally there during whatever is happening, sometimes it's like looking at a photo, there are times where I see things from a birds eye view, or I see things from someone else's eyes/viewpoint.

I will also see a lot of symbolism too (tbh I find symbolism my least favorite way to recieve information) this is mainly because sometimes the images I see it's hard to distinguish what's literal vs symbolic, but every read is different, and whoever I'm connecting with comes through using whichever of my claires suits them, be it clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, clairsalience etc..

For instance some symbolism I've added into my journal that's come through in reads the last few days -

🌿 I saw a very vivid image of a long chained silver necklace with an anatomically correct replica of a heart attached to it.

(the lady I was connecting with in spirit passed away from a heart attack)

🌿 I saw a large tree with all of it's roots (this read was a psychic link with a living person, to find out their current situation) I recieved clairaudiently, that there was a living situation that was weighing on her mind, which the sitter validated as being correct, this image instantly made me think of family and family roots. Which the lady validated by telling me that with this situation, she has a lot of siblings, who are all weighing in on what to do next with their mothers current living situation.

🌿 I connected with a lady and her pet cat, both living, during a psychic link read, and I saw a pair of hands holding a small mound of soul with a thriving little green plant budding up from the soil. Which to me showed the nurturing that gone into caring for this pet, which made me think she didn't raise her from a kitten more so got her after a hard life, turned out she rescued her.

🌿 I usually see a dummy, if there is a pregancy/birth announcement, this time though I just saw a snapshot of someone holding cute little baby feet. This was a mediumship read, and the loved one in spirit was making the sitter aware that she acknowledges the new children that have been born into the family since she passed.

🌿 I got a strong tightness in my throat when connecting to a lady in spirit (clairsentience) so this shows me that the lady had throat issues/couldn't communicate properly before she passed away, this was validated by the sitter.

Some tips for developing >>

Intuition, is a crucial thing in reads, and something you need to fully trust in when an image comes through. Symbolism that comes through will mean different things to different people, which is why many mediums make up their own symbolic log.

The main tip for developing - Clear your head, throw away any doubt, if you doubt yourself and what's coming through, it's like a giant mental block and ruins the connection. The best thing to do is just clear the mind completely and anything that comes through write down straight away. It doesn't matter if it doesn't make any sense to you, because it can make complete sense to the sitter, no matter how silly it is, the amount of stuff thats come through and not made sense to me, but made perfect sense for the sitter is crazy. Trust is so important!

Here are some random ones off the top of my head -

I did a read where I just got the close up image of a duck in my minds eye, the young man that passed after Christmas, had got given a ton of little plastic ducks that he then hid all around the house for his family to find, to make them smile, I loved this read as the man came through really strongly with tons of info that was all validated, and I even recieved his name (Ben) during the read.

Another, I saw the image of bus station and then a cafe inside it, this didn't make any sense to me, but the ladies mother used to bring her to town every weekend and they always used to have breakfast in the bus station cafe, it was a really lovely memory to her and meant a lot that it had come through.

Another, I saw a photography room the old style ones, where you clip photos up for them to develop and the liquid you dip them into, the woman told me her grandfather was a photographer and he had his own developing room!

I connected with a man in spirit and the word 'abuela' came through clairaudiently (his grandmother was also in spirit) then the word 'hispanic' which he was. He showed me my symbolism for cyclical mental health which he suffered from, he showed me a plate of tacos his favourite food, he showed me a horse, he previously worked taking care of horses, then he made my vision shake, his current job before he passed was a cement worker using large vibrating tools. He shows me a little daschund dog, the lady his partner, who asked for the read, after he passed away she had got herself a little Daschund dog which blew me away! He showed me the tshirt of his she sleeps with, allsorts!

So yeah it's silly but even with so many reads I've done so far, I still have tons of off days, where my connection isn't good, images are blurred, clairaudiently everything's coming in too fast and sounds so low etc. I still have days where I get in my own way, doubt myself and ruin the connection majorly, and even days where I get nothing and have to take a step back. Sometimes you just have a doubt of, did I make that up in my imagination? But apparently a lot of mediums even well established ones have times like that, I think it's just part of being human! The way we are all brought up in society around things that aren't the norm. The one thing I'm learning though is growth! It's amazing to see my claires developing, images coming through more vivid/detailed.

For instance I did a read yesterday and in my minds eye I saw an image of a teenage boy, brown short hair, shirt on, beaming smile, he was soaking wet like he had just been caught outside in the rain, like it was in such high definition, the type of clarity where I could've drawn them you know?! Like even my clairaudience is getting better too!

It's amazing and honestly it's just so fascinating to me, and also it makes me excited to see how I develop over the next few years!
