I think my favorite thing about the humanities majors is that we're all still violently angry about the destruction of the Library of Alexandria.

While I'm still on hiatus from my degree for health reasons my love for what I study has recently been rekindled by @gailcarriger (seriously, go check out her Victorian steampunk novels) and binging on Jane Austen movies. I want to keep stoking that fire by finding some new blogs to follow! I post myself and am looking to follow others who post about any of the following topics below. Like, reblog, or comment with recommendations!
Medieval studies
Medieval related studyblr
Medieval anything really
Ancient British Isles
ASNAC or Anglo Saxon, Norse, and Celtic studies
Victorian and Edwardian history of daily life (clothing, farming, domestic life, etc)
Archaeology

Though I’m currently on medical leave from college I’m preparing to hopefully be able to start attending again in the Summer or the Fall. In preparation I think I’m going to try working on rewriting my Latin notes and possibly continue working on an old research project on the Vindolanda scroll fragments or rework my way through my jumbo tome of medieval primary sources. Either way I need to start getting into a routine and figure out how to move forward with my studies with my chronic conditions tagging along. After a year off Lord knows I’m going to need to get used to the idea of discipline again.
Hoping to use this blog as a way of holding myself accountable and post updates on what I’m doing, maybe even do the 100 days of productivity challenge.
Wish me luck!
