the more i look at dbh (again; i hadn't been a "fan" of the game since the fucking beginning) the dumber it gets. sorry dbh fans but like, you should agree with me. david cage wrote the story for that game like every character only had two braincells to rub together. (also conveniently only as competent as his insufficiently creative brain could allow per plotbeat. never forget connor "most advanced prototype" RK800 struggling to handle two WR400s when he could take out an entire squad of heavily armed humans, no sweat)

also the worldbuilding is waaaay shoddier than tmbd. with tmbd, it's intentional. martha wells knows what she can get away with, with murderbot being the narrator. she clearly put thought into the whole thing. david cage? did not. not a single iota of thought.
