Ooo, for the smell thing!! I don't have a great sense of smell anymore, but if I notice familiar smells, they usually send me straight into a shift. Since I'm currently in a Maya shift, I'll just do hers- I found this one perfume that's like, pomegranate and orange and vanilla, and it smells just like what Franziska used to wear! I'm glad I found it (even tho I really shouldn't have splurged so hard on it, whoops- it's bestie scented, how could I not?). Then there's the smell of cold?? That's a thing, right?? Because when it's super cold out and I can smell it, that always throws me into a Maya shift. It reminds me of my village, it got pretty chilly in the mountains. The last but for sure not least, the smell of pine makes me think of Nick. It was his favorite smell, so I'd always get him something pine-scented for the holidays, even if it was something small tacked on to his actual present. He'd do the same for me with something burger shaped, it was a good tradition. Aw man, now I'm in a "missing my friends" mood, this backfired, lmao.

just realized kinning maya and seeing Phoenix as a brother would make so much sense too lmfao because when my brother was little he would always play as Phoenix in Marvel Vs. Capcom and he also obsessed over the games so much he almost decided to go to law school when he grew up lmao.
