Sometimes I really want to make a canon call.
But I know I wouldn't be able to deal with that, the endless possibilities of what version will reply, the endless wondering if they're really real. Pushing impossible expectations on them. And most of all I don't think I'd be able to handle texting but not physically being able to be in the same place and communicate how I'm used to.
I communicated through body language and noises and touch more than I ever did words.
We wouldn't be able to do our whistle over text. I would never be sure of anything over text.
