Why do you think the homeowner caught the pale man's attention? Did it start off as minor interest then evolve from there, or was he in full Freak mode immediately? And how does protag start to reciprocate those feelings considering, well, everything about the intruder?
Honestly? It was probably love at first sight with I Just Died in Your Arms playing in the background like that scene from Lego Batman. Auto freak mode activated. I donât think anything in particular wouldâve drawn pm in at first, it would just be obsession, nothing more, but he would be very quick to pin point exact, minute details that he loved about the homeowner⌠which is everything. Donât get him started because you KNOW ballerina is sick of hearing him yap. When heâd realize it was genuine affection heâd, somehow, pursue even harder
Homeowner would hate him at first, but pm always showing up at his door would cause routine and humanâs crave routine. Eventually heâd realize he looks forward to pm coming to his door and heâd start to question if it was because he liked him (like, just in general) and it would be nothing but denial, denial, denial. Eventually the good would outweigh the bad in his mind, yeah he kills and (probably) eats people, but itâs only people that threaten him or his guests⌠and heâs kinda funny⌠and well spoken⌠and brings supplies when For Rest stops coming to the area⌠and worries about the homeowners well being⌠then it all spirals from there
