Luz & Amity make sense
Gus & Mattholmule also makes sense
Cause they didn't know each other at first.
Amity got caught up in her ideal teen things. Which had her acting as a mean girl. Luz was just there to stand up to her (and to unintentionally ruin her day)
Mattholmule clearly went to Hexside & joined the H.A.S to push around someone smaller than him (which was Gus at the time) to take his mind off being bullied himself.
It's only when they helped them is when they got to know them.
Willow & Boscha doesn't make sense to me at all
Boscha's picked on Willow for years. So there's no similar dynamics with Luz/Amity & Gus/Mattholmule.
Why does she pick on her? Pettiness, jealousy and because Willow was seen as a weaker witch.
Do I wanna see Willow punch Boscha? YEAH!
If they do end up happening and/or they become friends? The writers are great so... good for them!

mattholmule and amity totally gossiped and talked shit about people and their problems (main targets being boscha and odalia) amity would go onto her scroll hext mattholomule and they would have a sleepover or just hang out and gossip.

I love how my to favorite chracters are so similar. Meaning Mattholmule and Amity.
like how both of them wanted to join the emperors coven. KEY WORD IS WANTED. Not still do.
technically they also both love(Ed?) Lilith, because mattholmuleโs first appearance was e5 s1 when Lilith is giving her presentation thing
plus. He even got her autograph in the same episode! You could see him with the crowd around her.
Amity had a poster in her room of Lilith saying โjoin the emperorโs coven today!โ Showing she originally wanted to join the emperors coven, and she lived Lilith as well.
