You’re right, until 11 pm cst last night, this blog still belonged to John. This is probably very, very confusing for people who weren’t involved in all the Drama™, and we’re sorry about that! 

10 second run down: John was a horrible person to a lot of people on here. He lied to, manipulated, and hurt people that absolutely did not deserve that kind of treatment (not that anyone does).  A lot of people really disliked him because of this, but felt alone because he had a significant number of followers and it seemed like everyone loved him. During the past three days, but especially last night, pretty much everyone who was hurt by him realized that they’re very much not alone. Once John realized that everyone knew the awful things he’s done and were sort of united in their hurt and anger, he deleted his blog. 

As far as I know, no one harassed John or was actually mean to him in any way. He just saw that he actually hurt people and decided that he’d rather delete his blog and block people on instagram and twitter than answer for his actions. 

That was more than ten seconds, but i think that’s the gist of it. 

unfortunately line changes are one of the most complicated things in hockey and even players have said they don’t really know how they work. Generally players will know when to change themselves and the coach will focus more on which line will be up next. There can be a lot of strategy in it when the coach basically says “I want this match up” so a player will know to leave the ice if they matchup with a player their coach does not want them to.
