Decided to redraw a scene from primal fear with vocaloids and stuff, because why not?
I think they would get along really well
i understand it's fandom culture and obvs it's going to tend to not be so serious most of the time, but I'm really saddened by how primal fear was watered down so much to just edward norton hot twink. the movie was terribly watered down too, even if Norton's performance as Aaron Stampler is completely amazing and it's of my favorites.
like i get it, but the first book is such a nuanced and nicely written story on systematic abuse, power, who gets to be acknowledged as a victim, industrialization and the isolation it imposes on rural communities, prejudice, etc. and i guess i was just expecting something very different from the community built around it.
that's one of the reasons why I couldn't continue to write fanfic about most of Norton's characters. idk if its just the autism™ but it didn't feel right.
