When I was a kid, and still very much am, I hated mathematics. It bothers me to this day. Numbers bother me. I don't like it. I view it as essential to the universe but it is not something I was built for.

Probably connected to that, the majority of my youth I did not have cable and we had to rely on three television channels. Because it was the '80s and because that's what you did, I found I could watch and enjoy a little bit of Square One television. Let me tell you the mathematics really made it a chore. I was either the exactly right age category for the show or maybe a year too old.

One time there was a music video about art, and the brunt of the song was "Cezanne, Cezanne, was the father of cubism" and although reruns were very typical back then, I can't say if I remember seeing it more than once. I remember absolutely nothing else from that video or song.

In this modern day certainly, it can be researched and reviewed. But I have never done so. But that little hook has been in my head for decades.
