it was a little earlier than the proposed time that carol had stated for their dinner - six thirty, to be exact. she wasn’t nervous in any sense of the word, nor did she mind the wait - after all, frigga’s had become a particular haunt for her and she was certain thor wouldn’t dare try to kick her out. still, she wondered what got into the god of thunder’s mind to decorate the place in balloons. grabbing one, she admired it for a moment before popping it - watching as the air quickly deflated and as the rounded plastic orb decreased in size, a particularly welcomed face appeared on the other side of it. “fancy seeing you here,” she chimed, smiling brightly as she dropped the dead balloon to the floor, “we can always go somewhere else, but i figured this... weirdly decorated bar, could work for the time being. food’s not actually half bad, but don’t tell thor that.”
