Is it not a magnificent aspect of our human nature that we construct such elaborate fictional worlds, and invest ourselves so deeply in them, as a way of opening up a basis for connecting with each other in a way that we could not if were were only thinking at the level of the immediate physical world around us? It is beautiful that our desire for connection motivates us so much. I overheard some random people discussing a science fiction show with such passion and involvement as they walked past my kitchen window and I was just thinking: wow, you know, like they are so into this and it is serving such a foundation for facilitating their friendship. Beautiful. Beautiful! Metta always!

Day 2 of the Youtube Blackout
It's been more bearable than it would be without the friendly Bettina Levy's discord server.
She's always been the ambassador between Tumblr and Youtube, and her videos brought joy to hundreds of thousands of people, including me. She's not making or uploading any new ones as she's participating in the blackout, but she's still just as friendly as ever in her Discord.
I've also been watching streams on Twitch (despite knowing it's owned by Amazon, at least it doesn't have any sort of BS AI policy)
I haven't done a stream of my own since I think the 8th? It was Friday I wanna say. I hope to do streaming again once I find a suitable platform. (I can't use Twitch because it doesn't save the videos on demand for longer than 2 weeks)
