Im rewatching s2 of Daredevil because i cant stop thinking about Frank and im noticing so many little details.
In the first episode parts of the set were designed to look like the punisher symbol but very subtly. The wall/ windows of the irish club is one, then the camera cuts to the red neon Hells Kitchen sign at josie’s = daredevil. When matt is at the meat warehouse the lighting makes his suit look almost black, on of the punishers colors.
ok but can we take a moment to talk about lemar? i’m genuinely upset about his death. this entire time, he was so enthusiastic about helping people. he created a nickname for himself and even a little logo in case anyone asked for his autograph. when john wanted to go storm the building to arrest karli, he warned him to stay back. i don’t think he would have wanted john to do what he did to nico. he deserved better than to die to be the catalyst for a yt man’s negative character development

I hate this ‘supposed to be’ TVA is going by and mcu introducing this higher power basically dictating the path of everyone, because it just takes away the free will the impossible made possible element you thought they had in mcu. It on some level made the characters action pointless if it’s all just part of a grand scheme.
And even if I go with it, the avengers are ‘supposed’ to time travel to fix the snap and others don’t hence got arrested, then why the hell TVA didn’t interfere when 2014 thanos hijack the supposedly sacred timeline in 2023 and caused that final battle that shouldn’t even have happened?? Because why was 2014 thanos ‘supposed’ to go to other tl only to get killed by tony and tony died from sacrificing himself for something that technically shouldn’t have allowed to happen? Lmao it doesn’t make sense to have things both ways??
