you don't understand how much it pisses me off personally as a languages and literature major that marvel will simultaneously call Doug Ramsey a linguist and then say his power allows him to "read body language". I'll fucking kill you. First off body language is not an actual fucking language you'd know this if you spent 5 minutes looking over linguistics in order to write this character who's supposedly a linguist!! Second, Doug is a DECODER, A DE-CYPHER. IT'S ON HIS FUCKING NAME!!! Let his powers expand beyond language! Let that mf have fun with computers again! But then if they did that they would have to acknowledge warlock's existence and current x-office would rather die than do that.
And also when they said Doug made the krakoan language that was literally just english with a different font it fucking killed me, that was such a good way to showcase how inherently american and imperialist and eurocentric krakoa is as a concept
