Jason shifted nervously on his feet before moving further into the room. He settled on one of the seats by the window, not quite meeting his grandmother's gaze.

He thought he could do this. Had been thinking about it for weeks once he knew, but now that he was here... Jason had no idea how to broach the subject with anyone else.
