And I think (I hope!!) this has been said before but i don’t think there’s any harm in saying it again.
Cis women with flatter chests, cis men who keep their hair in a more feminine style, cis women with a more gravely voice and cis men who might have a bigger chest.
Disabled people of both cis genders who physically appear more traditionally “masculine” or “feminine” then their AGAB (cis women with facial hair, cis men with a thinner frame)
People who just want to try a new style- a cis woman dressing like a butch lesbian, a man trying on a skirt.
And many, many more examples. If you come across this feel free to reblog and add.
Im Agender myself, so this doesn’t apply exactly to me, but I have friends who fall into some of these categories. It’s a different kind of pain to see someone so supportive of me and our other trans friends take a blow of transphobia (usually- because of their physical appearance.)
Not sure how to end that thought but yeah, something I do think about a lot and I think it opens the floor for interesting discussion!
Today I had a really sweet customer call me a 'sweet girl' and as she was leaving, said 'my bad, I should've said sweet person :D' and like OUUUUU HI WEET OLD LADY!!!!
It was super nice because like, i have nothing on my person at work that would really indicate me being any sort of trans, I even go by my deadname and I've never considered myself to pass very well either. Absolutely made my day!
