Because here's mine: Solangelo, not Percabeth Remastered. I hope and pray that Rick is gonna make Solangelo have their own original moments and not recreations of Percabeth relationship goals. Already, they're going to Tartarus as a couple. Then, there's that thing about the date night in Paris Will offhandedly wished for—something Percabeth done did back in Demigod Diaries.

I also believe that Rick should not dare to make them as kiss-a-minute as Percabeth currently is. I want Nico and Will to have a beautiful, platonicish romance where they kiss occasionally but talk like the best of pals. In summary, I want their relationship to be a little bit like gay Frazel, where both of them are weak and need each other to rise above, yet still handle on their own like bosses; where they contrast yet compliment each other.

I'm talkin 2013 at best—ten years ago—before the release of so much as the iPhone 6, much less The Rise of Skywalker, much less the discovery of Lil Nas X.

Second things second—I am very angry because of it.

We love Solangelo, but this is evidence that Will, ahem, cares about Nico's safety so much that he made the foolhardy move of attempting to dodge a direct prophecy.

I don't know who else would've suggested staying the fall in Camp Half-Blood alone for the fall when a dangerous fate has been foretold. Could it be Mr. D, a past demigod who has sent current demigods on his own quests? Or is it the wise centaur Chiron, who's aware that no prophecy is unavoidable and one could get killed trying to cheat fate? Of course not. It's Will's emotional side kicking in, not wanting to lose someone else because of some prophecy. And since Nico's totally in love with him, he's WILLing to follow suit.
