Would you ever consider writing a fluffy short fic about the ponyboy/curly/mark rarepair ship? There’s like no content of them and I (as a purly and markboy multishipper) fell in love with the concept of ponyboy despairing because he can’t date both of them at the same time that’s wrong, but at the same time curly and mark are enemies to begrudging friends to dating. So yeah.

aw that's a cute idea! i like that a lot. i love unrequited ships and ponyboy is everybody's type for real. if you ever took a stab at writing a fic, i'd definitely read it!
personally, i can't see curly as the pining type necessarily? not in an angsty way, i could see him framing it like "i totally could've hit that but he went soc on us 🙄😒" you know what i mean? like assuming of course pony would've been all over him. totally.
also, mark... he's not not into ponyboy but i see it as like... speaking of unrequited, mark is so into bryon that he'd dump pony's ass immediately if bryon even so much as hinted at being bi-curious. (sorry pony!) like i generally think mark would be pony's first bad relationship.
