I’m Clover (not my irl name but at this point it might as well be) and I do stuff here idk

I post here semi-consistently (read: I will disappear for like two months and then randomly come back to post like 80 things a day for a week then repeat the cycle)

Soda and pony like thrifting (it’s like the one thing soda can focus on for long periods of time, it’s also how they get clothes that are decent quality without spending 8 billion dollars)

Soda wears sandals 24/7 (he wears shorts in the winter bc he “doesn’t like the way sandals look with pants”) (Darry is ripping his hair out)

darry will send pony those “white boy, why” horse picture things (iykyk) to tell him stuff instead of communicating like a normal person

6-7 was such a problem in their household that Darry banned it from being said while on the property

yes this means that two-bit stood on the sidewalk and screamed it at like 7 in the morning once

Ponyboy vapes (though in this universe he’s actually less of an addict bc Darry/CPS would NOT be happy if they found out so pony js doesn’t tell him. Therefore he cannot js take a hit whenever he wants so he’s actually got some sense of self control)

dally will bully pony for vaping and then turn around and light his 87th cigarette of the day

pony and Johnny hide the stuff they don’t want the gang seeing in the lot (it’s mostly js vapes)

two-bit, soda, and Steve play steal a brainrot religiously

pony likes grow a garden

pony uses Duolingo bc he’s bored and kinda js doesn’t tell anyone (he’s got like 12 courses that he either quit after like one lesson or simply forgot abt, he’s pretty far along for like 2 of them tho)

pony and curly care more abt their snap streak then life itself

curly is absolutely addicted to monsters (he drinks like 5 a day)

curly listens to the most heinously freaky music you’ve ever heard, examples include MSI, Limp Bizkit, Odetari, etc.

pony likes Radiohead/The Smiths (projecting my music taste onto him :D)

Purly pulling a 2000s teenager and sneaking thru each others windows at like 2am (curly has accidentally stepped on soda while doing so whoops)

the Curtis gang has nerf gun battles (blood will be shed.)

the first time Darry heard good luck babe all he could think of was Paul and he cried a little

pony and curly go on Omegle at like 3am at sleepovers (you can decide how you think that goes for them)

Dog Whistle is an AU of The Outsiders by @fr3akology aka Grease! :D (I did NOT make this it was all her lol) with a pretty large focus on mental health and how it was taken care of in the 60s (spoiler: not well)

To explain the plot without spoiling anything: Ponyboy trusts someone who doesn’t exactly have his best interests in mind, though Pony doesn’t know this yet. He carries on with his life, mainly interacting with Curly (who has his own problems going on), and Mark (ew). As his mental and physical health starts rapidly declining, those closest to him start wondering if betraying him is the only way to help him. Pony is not going to let himself get help easily. (Rip Darry 🥀)

Drown Ponyboy but he survives being drowned only to die slowly of pneumonia in the hospital just days later, Johnny who can’t be with him because he’s on the run and Dally’s with him. His brothers would like to see him but his room is quarantined for fear of further infection. The church is already doomed to go up in flames, Johnnys fate is set. Pony dies alone talking to the ghosts of people who aren’t there.
