45,46 ds9?
45. Which alien culture would you most want to live in/would feel most comfortable?
I’d probably be most comfortable with ...oh gosh, i don’t know. Is it cheating to say I’d be most comfortable on a multicultural place like ds9? because honestly- that’d be the best
46. If they rebooted *insert show here* who out of modern day actors would you pick to play the main characters?
Oh man I wish I knew enough Actors to answer this...Really rather than a reboot though what I want is a 6 part mini series of the Terrible Adventures of Curzon Dax and Baby Sisko. Or a Space Moses Returns the Movie.
If nobody is going to pioneer the MarGwen ship, then I will

My look for this party was “Wizard who’s been asleep for 100 years was just woken up by some asshole heroes who need a spell or smthn from him” and I think it went over pretty well

I ate cinnamon toast for the first time in seven years.
It was August the last time I had it. My dad was dying. My family and I watched him these last few months, withering down to the barest recognizable pieces of a man.
He was proactive. He had cleared out his desk at work, made sure his life insurance was set, picked out his grave spot.
These preparations, I imagine, made it a little easier for him. Important errands to run. A checklist of items to run through before a quickly approaching deadline.
During his last weeks, his mind started to deteriorate as well as his body. Stage Four. My mom theorized (or knew, probably) that the tumors had reached his brain. I felt better thinking that his many prescriptions kept him away from reality. In the last days, there would only be glimpses of the man that raised me.
I was the only one home. It was a thursday. I was told by my mom not to give him a laptop if he was lucid enough to ask for one. His meds made her nervous about what he would do. I gave him one anyways.
He put The Twilight Zone on TV, but wasn’t watching. He made plans to meet up with his cousin, and liked “Michelle Obama” on facebook. I stuck around. My dad was there, in the room. Dying, and in a lot of pain, but present.
He was hungry. He didn’t have enough strength to go downstairs for something. He asked me to get him cereal. I did. He couldn’t eat it.
Then he asked for cinnamon toast.
I went back down to the kitchen, and popped four pieces of 12 grain bread into the toaster. Grabbed the Tupperware container of cinnamon-sugar we kept in our house, cut a small piece off a stick of butter, and made some toast.
For several hours, we sat together. We didn’t talk much. We just watched The Twilight Zone and ate some cinnamon toast.
He died two days later.
It was his last time lucid.
It was his last meal.
I haven’t watched an episode of The Twilight Zone since.
But I regularly eat cinnamon toast.
This photo is so unflattering but I almost never smile this big
Here's a selfie of me with my dog
