Day 17: Favourite Movie for Mizu’s #marchaboutyou ~ . Again, I picked my favourite anime movie and my favourite movie movie. Howl’s Moving Castle is my favourite Ghibli movie. It touches something deep inside of me and I always get so emotional watching it. Plus it’s gorgeous. And then Memoirs of a Geisha! Admittedly I saw the movie before I read the book but it didn’t ruin the experience for either for me. In fact it just made me love it all the more. The acting was phenomenal and again it was a bittersweet story about a woman’s journey into a world she should not have been forced into. Despite everything and all her hardships she grows and while she doesn’t find a happy end, she is able to find comfort in her growth. Day 15: Favourite Book for Mizu’s #marchaboutyou ~ . I decided to do my favourite manga and my favourite book! Of course Tokyo Mew Mew is my fave! It was my very first one as well! Mine is in really rough shape but it’s still dear to me. And Captive Prince, a book I picked up on a recommendation from an online friend. An amazing story featuring political intrigue, wars, and a budding romance between two kings of rivaling countries as they try to learn to trust one another from very polluted pasts.
