"What did you call me?" Penny asked, standing in front of them. Team RWBY stopped in shock at her sudden reappearance. Penny was so enamored by the mere act of being called "friend" that she had to know who called her that. "Oh, I'm really sorry," Yang rushed to clarify—"I definitely didn't think you heard me!"—as Weiss pointed right at her, looking back and forth with increasing terror on her face. "There's no need to apologize!" Penny nodded. "I say things that I do not think others would hear, too!" Weiss hyperventilated as Penny approached Yang. At first Yang had no idea what had happened. She filled in for her sister, who stumbled in her speech, but surely Penny could differentiate between Ruby's words and her own, right? Right?
