I've been thinking about that! With how the PHM timeline is, even if I shorten it, it still takes a few years, so the Dispatch plot will be totally different.
I'm thinking that I'll do something like: Chase tries to get an investigation going on Robert's disappearance, gets Blazer involved, the Z-Team hears about it somehow and decide to snoop, and suddenly they're in on the investigation too because Blazer wants to see how they'll handle it.
Maybe with them joining the investigation, Blazer will directly be in charge of them, so there's no risk of cutting anyone?
I'm also thinking that SDN probably took in the Mech once they started looking into Robert's disappearance, and Royd would be on top of hunting down missing pieces and such. Maybe he figures out about the astral pulse stuff and gets the team involved on that?
I really don't know how exactly it'll all go, I'm definitely open to suggestions, lol
