Maracudja :)
Yesterday we went to a international fair. And it was very loud and crowded so I sadly didn't get to enjoy it much.
But I remember this moment were we were visiting the Colombia pavilion and they were selling drinks. They had the basic tropical drinks like mango, pineapple etc. But then they also had passion fruit which is one of my favourite drinks.
And when we asked for passionfruit the man talking to use told us it was a good choice and we started talking about how the drink tasted, but every time he mentioned it he always maracudja / maracuya which made me really happy.
It made me happy because of how it felt hearing someone else call my favourite fruit the same way I used to, because when ever I used to mention maracudja people had no idea what I was talking about.
And it also made my dad(he is from the Caribbean) happy because it was also a long time for him to actually have someone talk about the fruit and taste.
