How do you headcanon the four Mantis Lords' horns? As part of their body, or a ceremonial headpiece? I bet T. Lord's kid either sneaks in to take her dad's horns, or he plops them on her head now and again
The idea of the Daughter sneakily trying on his headpiece sound more cute to me XD
all the lords are aware of that but still let her do it cuz' she is cute <3
Anyhow, my personal headcanons... it's their "horns"
Continuing the OC posting, meet Nils!
He's a Mantis from the Mantis Tribe, who grew up knowing that they were not made for fighting. From a young age he avoided violence, choosing more peaceful activities instead. Once he came of age, right before the combat trial that would earn him the title of a warrior (or end in his death, if they were to fail), he vanished without a trace. To the tribe, he was presumed dead. In truth, he escaped with the help of his once childhood friend and now mate, Einarr, and traveled far away towards the surface. He reached Dirtmouth, and decided to settle in there. The town was peaceful, and they knew the other Mantises stayed away from the surface. In their new home, he decided to pursue his old passion: baking. Once he honed his skill, he opened a bakery in the town.
Nils is squeamish and repulsed by violence, particularly the bloody kind. Moreover, while he wants to believe that he's safe in Dirtmouth, in the back of his mind he's still afraid his tribe might try to look for him, and he would rather not imagine what they would do if he found them. He keeps informed of their whereabouts thanks to his secret visits with Einarr, though Nils constantly worries what would happen to his lover if the tribe found out the truth behind his disappearance.

Thank you so much for not being hostile
why do in the most games I play its the tribes that kills me the most
The Traitors' Child
What is the more interesting “Wild Tribe”, the Mantises or the Skarr?
I love them both but which one is more interesting to you guys?
MANTISES ALL THE WAY
FOR QUEEN KARMELITA AND FAR FIELDS!!!!
Some thoughts: I thinks it’s likely at some point Hornet fought the Mantis Lords either out of boredom or so she didn’t have to kill their sentries. Or just to have some social interaction besides occasional murder with honorable warriors.
I think the mottled Skarrs have like a genetic defect that changes their shell and makes them resistant to Silk’s control, which is why poor Mottled Skarr is murdered. I don’t think it’s racism. Also I’ve seen some things that say Mottled Skarr has breathing issues that you can notice but I’m not hundred percent sure of but I’ll roll with it.
Gurr may be just be a serial killer but that doesn’t stop me from wanting his redemption.
Also thought since Hornet wrecked the ant’s shit in multiple times and bested their Queen there may be a faction among them that want her to be their new Queen just a thought.
