I would say pretty successfully.#Until you get too old and your strength weaken so does the tribe defense.#But at least the Pale Monarch's most loyal supporter decided to rebel her and trapped her.#So the tribe now have some level of freedom and indepence #And then another Pale being came. Mess everything up. Worse. This same being brought a new calamity. A new powerful - more ancient foe.#And then she has the gal to demand your helps. By giving away your physcial heart. For a slimmering chance of ridding this calamity #You will die. But you cannot refuse her request for aid. You don't have a choice. You don't even know if there is another way.#So... in the end. Karmelita managed to defense herself against a God. Only to be mercifully killed by another.#That's sad.#I know Hornet is doing everything to redeem her mistakes. So does the Shaman. But geez. Is this seriously the only way???#I'm just gonna assume just because the ant queen die. Doesn't mean the entire tribe will be gone.#They just gotta endure this whole fuck up.#I'm not looking forwars to the other fights.

Whenever someone make a mantis OC that related to the Lords of the tribe and specifically, related to Traitor Lord, it feels funny.

Like, this guys potentially has multiple kids, either they followed him or remain in the village. Regardless, TL seem to favor only his daughter.

Meanwhile, Hornet returns from Pharloom with magic and knowledge that might aid in the slow recovery of Hallownest and Deepnest–and perhaps offer the chance to call home the sibling she once thought lost to her forever.

It's been ten thousand years since we had a chapter properly focused on the green bean, but it looks like he's finally stopped dissociating long enough to participate in the plot. It's probably because of the Emotional Support Grubs, let's be honest.

At any rate, we're kicking off his plotline properly, with mantis politics and the introduction of the only major original character in this comic--Vise, a mantis who until recently existed in my notes exclusively as "Himbo Mantis."
