At the other’s response, Jihoon realizes that his words might have come harsher than he actually meant. He hadn’t mean to offend the slightly older female with his words at all, but sometimes he can’t help that he is a pretty blunt person. Quickly shaking his head, he offers her a soft smile to reassure her. “No, you don’t come off as whiny. Don’t worry. I guess my words came out harsher than I expected it to be. I’m sorry, noona. And I totally get what you meant. I’m quite a gamer myself, I play games occasionally when I’m not stuck with practices and I totally understand the frustration when you keep losing a level when you have tried many times.

Yugyeom’s mouth closed from the ‘o’ it was forming before, as he was just about to start a sentence but was cut off before he could. His mouth instead curved upwards into a grin, the rest of his face lifting up and brightening along with his smile. If his expression wasn’t enough indication of his glee at the latter’s change of heart, the snicker that followed suit was more than enough.

Sitting in the back of the van alone, fingers wrapped around her phone as she scrolled through her playlists and played some games while waiting for her members to finish their separate schedules before they would go back to the dorm. The female idol’s eyes open wide as she almost lets her phone slip between her fingers when the ringer starts blaring.

maybe this is the deities’ sick, twisted way to invoke karma on him, but he really doesn’t have time for this. he mutters this much to the younger as he rubs his temple with two fingers. yoongi hasn’t even had his coffee yet today. he feels ready to murder, probably looks the part, too. “just tell me where it is,” he repeats, voice exhausted and annoyed as he reaches a hand up to tousle his hair while frowning a bit.

a laugh; though very silent is let out by the younger, offering a shake of her head as a form to protest against the statement made by the older label mate. while she wasn’t wrong and there were quite a few super tall male and female idols she believes it may just be due to change of time, the average height had gone up in recent years – hasn’t it? lisa wouldn’t bet on it, but she’s still quite certain something along the lines was written in some news article a year or two ago. ❛ you aren’t even that short, chaerin unnie! it could be much worse, you could be 150cm orshorter. but maybe, just maybe you didn’t drink your milk when you were a kid. ❜ there’s a teasing tone under laying her words, causing another chuckle to pass through rosy lips – shoulders lifting into a slight shrug. ❛ you should also not stand next to people who are 185cm or above – that would make you look even smaller! ❜ 

It was the same old complaint that she sighed out whenever someone towering over her passed by and especially if they looked like they hadn’t even finished their teenage years yet. There was laughter in it mostly, but also the reminder of model friends having whole conversations over her head and a neck ache from trying to keep looking up at them. It was moment like those that had her wondering what she’d missed out on that’d made everybody else so tall. Lisa’s response had the hint of frustration in her brows dissolving as she let out a laugh of her own. “oh, but I like those people! people who drank even less milk than I did. I can stand next to them and feel a little tall. I wanna put my chin on the top’s off people’s heads too!” Her hands came up to lay flat under her chin, a little demonstration of what she imagined it be like. “Must be nice, right? you can use everyone as a chin rest all the time... I used to use Dara unnie’s shoulder for that but you know... I need more options.” Letting out a good natured sigh at the suggestion she pulled a hand through her hair giving it a flip over her shoulder. “Really they should just not stand next to me. Or give me a box! help a girl out you know? I can only do so much with these heels.”

    a huffed laugh, playful roll of her eyes accompanied by an amused expression on her features. that’s how it always is, isn’t it? things look incredibly easy until you take the time of your day to try it out. you think you’ll do fantastic because there is NO WAY it’s hard, but once you try you realize that maybe, just maybe, you’re not made to do it; and thus, you fail. lisa has been there a few times every now and then, it started as kid with simple things such as hula hoop; EVERYONE did it outside when the weather allowed it, and most girls (and boys ) she had seen doing it were super good at it, making the ring spin around their body for ten minutes or longer, never letting it touch the ground. the first time she tried it she couldn’t even get it to stay up for a minute. not even longer than 20 seconds. the motivation to continue trying suddenly hit rock bottom and lisa decided to never touch that thing again – that was .. until a neighborhood girl told her she’d teach lisa how to. the next day the practice began and once she knew how to do it and what to look out for it suddenly began to be quite simple. sure to say lisa joined the children you saw out and about with their hula hoop rings!

   back to the topic. there’s a nod given now, soft hum emitting from her throat. ❛ what did you try to do, hanbin oppa? maybe i’m actually good at it and willing to teach you! ❜ maybe she was super lucky and the thing in question happens to be nothing else than HULA HOOP! we can all dream.  ❛ if it’s cutting onions you may want to hit up jennie unnie, though. ❜

Lips were parted, ready to explain that of what he was speaking about until the mention of her fellow member and onions had deterred his attention.

 “Onions?” He paused. “Jennie?” Hanbin may not always be up to date with the industry. He paid attention to comebacks, to concerts of certain idols...to some general news, but he was often so caught up in the activities and schedules of iKON to have an insight on girl groups. You’d think he’d know a little more about Black Pink seeing as they’re from the same company and their debuts weren’t too far apart. 

“Is Jennie good at cutting onions?” His interest was peeked. He’d practically forgotten about his earlier whining--...or sorry, correction, his earlier introduction for the on-coming whining. Perhaps it was a good thing. This way Lisa wouldn’t have to endure what was usually iKON’s burden. 

In fact, he’d been trying to pick out gifts for both his mother and his little sister. His Father seemed to be easy to purchase for. They had similar tastes. Father like Son...so the tattoo on his hip read, and it was true in this case. Normally he would stick to something simple as a present, something he knew his Mother and Sister would at least appreciate. This year he wanted to get something more...extravagant? An item, or items, that would stand out among the rest. A gift that they’d speak of often and brag to their crowd of acquaintances. 

            ❛ i don’t believe that for one second! ❜ exclaims lisa, clearly in protesting mode – she truthfully believes juniel would just as good – if not BETTER in her boombayah outfit. it’s laid out in front of them, and lisa has been trying for at least twenty minutes to get the older female to try it on. whether the other liked it or not; she’d wear it sooner or later. the younger had learned to be persistent to get her will, and after all it’s just a little fashion show, no one will see her in lisa’s outfit.  ❛ it would look super good on you! come on, try it on juniel-ssi! ❜ a gentle nudge to the other girls side with her elbow, cheeky smile coming into view as her left hand gestures towards the clothing. eventually she decides to pick it up herself, swiftly turning on her heels to shove the entire thing into the others arms – no time for a big debate! hands on her shoulders to turn her to face the bathroom; little push to set her in motion.

There are so many reasons as to why Seo Ah disagrees with Lisa. One, the younger girl rocked the outfit as if it was her own and no one else’s. Two, the style greatly differs from what the soloist usually wears-- it will almost make her into a different person, which she isn’t sure whether the outcome will be good or not. Three, her stubbornness rivals the other’s so well it almost feels like they are bickering. In a playful manner, of course.
