As the moon enter a new phase it is the perfect day for a devotional post for the god that named Monday; Máni, which means moon in old norse.

Brother to he sun goddess Sól, and the very moon itself, he is one of the deities to shine upon our world. Especially for hunters at night that need guidance in their hunt, or on their way home.

Ways to show your devotion:

- Do some cleaning, or/and cleansing, of your home with this new phase of the moon

- Do a Waxing Moon Spell For Courage; to fill you up for the rest of the week.

- Ground yourself and meditate on what you want to do for the upcoming week. Let Máni guide you through it.

- The waxing moon is the time for new beginnings: make yourself a promise to try something new and give that promise to the god.

- This is also the perfect time to meditate for clarity in your mind. Use this phase of the moon, and with help from the god, to clear and cleanse your mind as well.

Any suggestions?

I want to be more devoted? To the gods, i haven’t been motivated recently ly and I want to restart my practice. If anyone has any advice for someone starting over I’m open to any advice.

I have a habit of being super anxious when trying to honor the gods or do witchcraft. I feel embarrassed for some reason. I have the same problem with the other people I interact with.

Right now I occasionally draw or wear some jewelry, usually Mjolnir. I have a couple altars set up but I haven’t really used them and I rarely make offerings.
