The ‘First Voyage’ was mixed and served to us by @Phil ip.bischoff of The Manhattan Bar, Singapore (@manhattan_sg), which just placed 3rd overall at @50bestbars last week 🥉👏🎉 . It’s a twist on the classic Martinez Cocktail, using • Mancino Vecchio Vermouth • Rutte Old Simon Genever • Port Wine • Luxardo Maraschino • Orange Bitters 🍸🍸🍸 . Yet that’s not all. The First Voyage is also one of the drinks they carefully age in custom made small oak barrels in the bar’s very own ‘Rickhouse’. Same thing will happen to the mix we jointly poured together yesterday, as we will let it rest here, so in a couple of weeks we will be back at the awesome Fontenay Hotel to taste the results 🤩👌 .
