Wasn't sure how to work with this prompt, so here's a bullet point list rather than a story.

Sakura sides with light.

After having Destiny Island destroyed and was transported to Traverse Town, she was granted the Keyblade along with a Sora, she chose to defend the worlds willingly along with Sora and accepted it as her responsibility, choosing the light side

This was cemented even further after discovering her Weaver of the Hearts status

She only switched sides to the darkness by force because of Maleficent controlling her in order to use her powers

Switched back thanks to the efforts of Sora and Kairi

This taught her a great amount of responsibility and only fuels her pride when she sees her hard work protecting the worlds pay off
