Every year at this time I take an inventory of what I preserved from my farm the year before and start a list. Whatβs left, weβre we able to eat organically most the year from the garden, what do we need to preserve more of ectectect. Basically we cleaned out the freezer with pesto and a little fruit left, pantry still has some herbs, spices and flowers. I learn a lot from doing this as it tells me how I can do better this season, what I need to grow more of and hope we have a bumper crops. On tonightβs menu the end of preserved veggies- Cauliflower base, Pesto pasta with the last of the Spinach, Zucchini and Tomatoes with a beautiful green salad fresh from the garden.
