Today, I'm feeling particularly unmotivated, but! Things are looking better. These time are hard, very hard for everybody. But we'll pull through and a new norm will sit in place for a while, then that will change too. Because for as much as we want things to stay the same, they will nearly always change. Anyhow, breakfast today came in at 4.5 grams of carbs. Just a vanilla smoothie thing that I actually drank. Tonight's dinner brought to you by the over: Dinner Doesn't Have A Name Feturing: Chicken Cauliflower Broccoli Celery Mushrooms Onion Baby carrots Zuchinni Yellow squash and some seasonings with about 2 grams of carbs. Yield 6 - 8 servings. Calculating the carbs for dinner tonight is rather difficult and probably the reason I don't count often. There wasn't a lot of fats in there, olive oil and butter is about it. Altogeter the meal was about 25 to 26 grams of carbs. I blame the onion! Divide that by 8 and you get a nice pretty little number that isn't entirely accurate. I didn't eat the carrots, not because I don't like them, I do. I just didn't need them. I only had a few slivers of onion becauae roasted onion is imposible to resist. I ate about 2 servings so that is about 10 g of carbs. So far today, we're under 20 and that is honestly too low for me. For breakfast today I wanted a sweet treat sans the fruit because they do increase the carb count and I know I'm having at least 8 carbs with dinner & probably pure protein for lunch, so I whipped up some of that greek yogurt, heavy whipping cream, powdered Swerve, added cinnamon and a touch of chiamilk, blended it all together and put it in a bowl. Made of the YUM!
