d'you ever think about just how insane it is that makeup companies just roll out the exact same product (but repackaged) over and over again for decades
how many more brown/beige/gold eyeshadow palettes, and pink/gold blush & contour palettes does this world need? I don't fucking get it. try to visualize just how many plastic makeup palettes are on this planet right now
why is all this shit being repackaged as a new fun thing year after year? why don't makeup companies focus on refining their products instead? like every makeup company could have their brown/beige/gold eyeshadow palette, and then fix up and retouch the formula here and there. "I like Company ABC's brown-greige palette better than XYZ's, it's more pigmented." why are they releasing "new" palettes that's just the same exact shit over and over?
it feels like infernal madness actually. I'm baffled by this. and imagine all the WASTE. anyone who wears makeup already has their brown-greige palette. how many hundreds of thousands of "new" makeup palettes are gonna be landfill because it's just wholly unnecessary?
