I'm putting notes on all my entries, cause how could I list these books and not talk about them? Don't know if that's allowed but screw the rules I have free will.
1.Ā Misty of Chincoteague by. Marguerite Henry.Ā Ā The first book I finished, put down, twiddled my thumbs a bit, then picked it up and read it from the beginning again.Ā And I am forever in love with horses.
2. Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery.Ā Frothy and fun and because Anne and Matthew were kindred spirits. Also the first book I listened too as an audiobook and it was great.
3.Ā The Virginian by Owen Wister. One of the first true Western novels, helluva of good read, and the author was bros with Teddy Roosevelt. That's a lot of awesome and it shows.
4.Ā Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Dracy are still one of the more interesting romances, no matter how many times I read it.Ā They always give me something to think about.
5. Go, Dog. Go! by P.D. Eastman.Ā I used to spend a great deal of time going over the illustrations, looking at every dog intently.Ā When we talked about books for my baby nephew my first thought was Go, Dog. Go!
6. Eloise by Kay Thompson.Ā She had an imagination bigger that the elegant background of her home, the Plaza Hotel.
7. The Catcher in the Rye by J. D, Salinger I didn't get it when I read it in high school.Ā I do a little more now.
8. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakaban by J.K. Rowling.Ā Still my favorite HP book.Ā The cover is going to tatters.
9. Superman for All Seasons by Jeph Loeb, art by Tim Sale.Ā My definitive idea of what comic books could be.Ā My definitive idea of who Clark Kent really is, everything else feels wrong.
10. The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy.Ā I can't even tell you what the plot of this book is, I read it in high school, but at the very end one of the characters I absolutely HATED died and it was at the very end and apparently there is some critical discussion about whether Hardy really wanted to kill her off or if he was pressured, but I don't care I read her death, put down the book, and did a little dance, sang a little song. I am smiling as I type this, man, oh, man I hated her and then she DIED, it was great.Ā I didn't even celebrate Voldemort's death the way I did hers. Ā I probably will have dramatically different opinions if I read it today, which is partly why I refuse to do so: I enjoy her being dead too much. Also, that gawd-damn heath.

I will wait patiently, bouncing in my chair. ;)
This'll be a story you'll want to read, Sansa, I GUARANTEE IT.

Damn it! I keep doing that. That should have been from me. LOL
;D
Where do you keep disappearing to during the day?
Iām a man of mystery.
Saw a restaurant menu that looked good while I was out though. Want to go to dinner?
justadramĀ replied to yourĀ post:Ā Omg I need fanart/fanfic of fanfic of these tumblr...
I can confirm that they watch movies against the headboard until Sansa slumps down under the covers, because sheās cold. Stellar use of that gif, btw. Also, I would give my right arm for fanart.
I was looking for the extended version where he goes "Okay, I'm starting over" but ~*alas.*~ I'm actually about to go start season 3 right now because I've been missing Schmidt in my life.
I think we all want fanart! Modern AUs are so awesome and lbr we have enough paparazzi/magazine spreads to work with for edits. (Though my TVBF!Kit has a weird penchant for water themed spreads......) But hnnnng a lil sketch of Jon and Sansa snuggled up in the dark watching Disney (or Boondock Saints lolz I feel like Jon would like that movie) is what dreams are made of.

Girl smell. Blegh.
I highly doubt that Sansa Stark, daughter of Senator Ned Stark, would ever wear a "girl smell" that is anything less than light, airy, and thoroughly warm and feminine. TRY AGAIN, JON.
