New Q’s:
What is one material thing you can’t go a day without? shoes or pants, probably
Who do you talk to at least once a day? Kimberly
Is there one point in your life, that regardless of how good life is right now, you always think back on fondly? honestly, just memories of being a kid and being carefree. I'll never forget summers in elementary school. I lived on a cul-de-sac and my best friends (who are still my best friends, I might add) and I would ride our bikes around and around all day, and play kickball and kick the can and cops and robbers and catch fireflies and watch the fireworks on the 4th. honestly, those were the best days. childhood was amazing, and I'm lucky I have a great one to look back on.
Do you have any pets? What kind/what are their names? well, sort of. my mom got a dog last year when I went off to school. his name is Max. but my mom got kind of fed up with taking care of him (guys, this has happened to literally like 20 pets she's had), and now it looks like she's pawned him off on my aunt. the only pet I've ever kept was my dad's dog. my mom has never owned an animal until it died, so I'm about ready to have my own so I can finally form a connection with it without having to worry about my mom giving it away.
What is one thing about your life right now that would surprise yourself five years ago? it could be a few things. maybe that I have a tattoo. probably that I drink and love beer, because I was totally straight edge in high school.
What is one goal that you’ll always be proud of yourself for achieving? getting into a good college, and then getting into my major in that college. I'm very proud of myself for where I'm at with school.
What is something that can always turn your day around, regardless of how rough it is? this may sound sad, but getting into bed at the end of the day. because, no matter how tough the day may have been, you can always look forward to the chance at a better day tomorrow. so, when I get into bed at night, I just look forward to being able to reflect on what went wrong today, and look forward to making tomorrow better.
What sort of weather makes up your perfect day? well, if I lived in the mountains, probably winter and snowing. however, I live in the midwest, so I live for crisp, sunny fall days with colored leaves and a roughly 50 degree temperature.
What is the most random topic you think of yourself as an expert on (or just know extraordinarily well)? DENIM. I LOVE DENIM. I want to learn all there is about the intricacies of denim. I am obsessed with quality, American-made denim.
Is there a particular food that makes you feel sick to your stomach just thinking about? it often depends on the day. like, if I had Potbelly yesterday, thinking about eating it again today will probably make me sick. you know what I mean?
How do you find your happiness? in the simple things. for example, having nothing to do after weeks of hard work. being able to sit and take a deep breath and enjoy the thought of not having to do anything. I think a lot, too. thinking and relaxing, driving, listening to music, sitting outside, hanging out with a group of friends and just talking for hours, going to get coffee with somebody, going to get coffee alone. there are a lot of ways. I think if you just look around you, there are so many ways to find happiness.Â
new questions (answer these):
how are you, honestly? are you satisfied with the way things are going?
do you have any tattoos? what of? if not, do you want any?
what's your current obsession?
favorite article of clothing?
describe a summer memory that means a lot to you.
if you could gift 1 object to all of your friends and family, what would it be?
how do you feel about the idea of an omnipotent being?
if you have kids someday, what would you name them?
what is your least favorite thing to do?
what's the best-kept secret?
name the most important thing in your life.

Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them!
